I think Lionel “knows” more than he let on. His body language was uncomfortable in the interview you posted previously.
This case caught my attention for a particular reason. My late SO did his chemistry internship at PPG in Barberton and his mentor was Lionel. He described him as highly intelligent, altruistic, and very helpful. He said he learned a lot from Dr. Dahmer.
Seversl years ago, my SO caught that interview (or an interview—I was not there) with Lionel saying he had had fantasies of killing and eating someone. My SO was really shocked since he had worked so closely with him during his internship. He said he guessed that must have been why Jeffrey got his tendencies. But, my SO never indicated that he thought Lionel did anything along those lines, but he was glad that Lionel never acted on his fantasies.
Or…hmmm. Something is odd here. You have been pointing out a number of questionable mismatches in the official story.
By the way, my SO passed away several years ago so there is no way that I could ask him any questions.
The whole thing was fiction. Lionel Dahmer never had any such fantasies and neither did Jeff. Jeff wasn't a killer. From what we've seen, he was a decent guy...with a conscience. We've located a few of the ''victims'' and they're alive right now. One of them operates a lunch truck.
So, why did the Dahmers go along with this? I have not read your entire blog, but what I have read so far, the inconsistencies of the stories raise eyebrows, to say the very least.
Remember this was 1994, before the internet. The only way to watch videos of the trial, the interviews, etc. would be to watch them on a VCR, if you had a copy. So, it wasn't easy to recall his physical appearance.
Also, he probably changed it somewhat. The last video of him...in the prison library....shows him with a full beard and it was his profile only. There were never any front-facing photos anywhere of Jeff Dahmer with a beard.
Finally, if someone thought they saw him...they would just think....oh, that can't be because he's dead. People believe what they're told. They weren't suspicious at all. Now...that's really changing.
I would encourage you to read the post about the trial. It's long and detailed but key to realizing that this whole story was fake:
There’s so much that doesn’t add up and the data we have available today just wasn’t available even a few years ago, let alone 30 years ago. It is certainly compelling what OSINT can uncover & helps to answer the many questions this story has raised.
There’s too many links between this archdiocese & this story to ignore. And they have a motive that raises some serious questions. Corruption indeed.
Interesting connections.

This post will answer some questions:

Interesting. The alternative scenarios do seem plausible.
If Jeffrey was released, where would he go? It seems that he would be recognized since he became infamous for the alleged crimes.
