NOTE: I wrote this post several months ago. It has since been pointed out to me that kidnapping charges are automatically filed when a victim is picked up by a car. Jeff had a kidnapping indictment but was not convicted. Therefore, whatever happened to Steven Hicks, likely happened after Jeff Dahmer picked him up with a car. There’s a link at the bottom of this post to another theory that seems to match up better with what we now know about the case.
We have mugshots of an alleged victim taken years after he supposedly died, a death certificate showing that alleged victim Richard Guerrero died in 1960, and Gerald Boyle's bizarre legal decisions.
So, this is not what they told us it was. It appears to have been a show trial.
But why did Jeff participate?
Watch Jeff in his third court appearance.
We also encourage you to watch both his Inside Edition interview and the Stone Philips interview.
Does he look like a murderer and someone who was hanging out in gay bathhouses? Can you picture him doing the things they claim?
For some reason, he's going along with this. But nobody goes along with something like this willingly. So, something happened and he ended up in this tragic role.
What was it?
We have a theory.
We think Jeff might have accidentally killed Steven Hicks in 1978 with his car as Hicks was walking alongside the road.
Jeff did have a serious problem with alcohol, so there were times when he probably got behind the wheel of his father’s car while intoxicated.
He was also ticketed for driving left of center on the night of June 18, 1978, the day Steven Hicks went missing:
If you go over the highway shoulder line just a little bit, you could accidentally hit someone walking on the shoulder.
Maybe that's what happened.
Steven Hicks is dead, but his death isn't reported because someone covered it up.
Jeff Dahmer’s home on Bath Road, isolated and barely visible from the street, was the perfect place to hide a body.
But, why not report it to the police?
Maybe because someone didn't want Jeff to get in trouble and maybe that someone wasn't Jeff.
Maybe it was Lionel Dahmer, or the woman who married him in December 1978 and became known as Shari Dahmer.
At this time, Lionel and Joyce Dahmer were in the middle of an acrimonious divorce and there was a restraining order against Lionel. He was not to enter the house on Bath Road and was staying with his girlfriend, Shari, in a motel a few miles down the road. Lionel and Shari were planning to get married.
As noted above, it’s well-documented that Jeff Dahmer had a drinking problem in high school, and on the night of June 18, 1978, he was driving his father’s car and received a ticket for driving left of center.
Jeff told the FBI that Hicks' body was in a field for three days. Maybe that's where he landed after being hit by the car Jeff was driving. Maybe Jeff didn't tell his father right away about it because he was scared.
Three days later, Jeff takes his father to the place where the body landed and the scene scared the living daylights out of Lionel Dahmer and he made a poor decision:
''We’re not going to the police. We're going to bury the body.''
Or maybe Shari Dahmer didn’t want this problem interfering with her upcoming wedding and didn’t like the idea that her boyfriend, Lionel Dahmer, might have to spend a lot of money on an attorney for his barely 18-year-old son. (Lionel Dahmer was already spending money on a divorce.) Did she convince Lionel Dahmer to have Jeff bury the body and be done with it?
Is this why Jeff didn't have a driver's license and appears to have never driven a car again?
Jeff made enough money to buy a car and I'm sure his father would have helped him. Jeff owned an expensive laptop, but no car.
So, the years go by and Jeff feels terrible. This kind of thing will weigh heavy on your soul until you confess.
And Jeff wanted to confess, and so he did.
Perhaps he told them that his father made him do it, made him bury the body. Perhaps he simply told them that his father helped him bury Hicks' body. That would have been enough to implicate Lionel Dahmer.
Not long before the arrest neighbor Vernell Bass heard Jeff throwing things and yelling inside his apartment. Vernell said that Jeff was calling someone a ''mother fucker'' and that this person had made Jeff do something. Jeff said, ''It's all your fucking fault.''
Was Jeff yelling at his father?
So, how do we get from that to this insane ''serial killer'' show?
Here's a possible scenario...
Maybe after Jeff confessed to accidentally killing Steven Hicks on the night of June 18, 1978 and then burying his body, they told him his father was going to go to prison along with him, and because of his age, he would probably die there.
Think about it. They had two middle class white men who would have been terrified of getting a life sentence in a maximum security prison full of violent offenders.
And then maybe a group of powerful people stepped in to make them an offer:
''You can do something for us and that will keep you and your father out of prison.''
And a show trial is born. We believe the Archdiocese of Milwaukee was involved.
It’s possible that Jeff Dahmer was in prison for 2.5 years or so and they staged the “prison murder” to get him out.
While the above is just speculation, we have carried out in-depth research and analysis into this case in the search for answers to questions raised. The findings have been eye opening. We hope that you will also find the answers you’re looking for and reach your own conclusions.
For another theory about what happened to Jeff Dahmer, see What Really Happened To Jeff Dahmer? - Another Theory. This theory is even more tragic than our theory.
Jeff always said that it was an accident & then that you never forget the first one & it affects your whole life. It’s possible he confessed to the Dr Lodl that he was paying.
I’m obsessed with this case for like 2 months and I can’t get this out of my head like I wonder what actually was real and what was fake ? If Jeffrey dahmers “death” was fake , I wonder where is he now and if he is alive ? Maybe somewhere where no one would recognize him or maybe he actually died in 1994 but I don’t think that’s true , I’m so happy and glad that I found account like yours because something was always “off” or “weird” about this case..so many things doesn’t make sense, I’ve never seen someone who would be like “ oh I don’t think Jeffrey Dahmer actually did all these things , something about this seems odd “ and I’ve always thought that I’m just the only one thinking that 😅 thank u for ur posts that explain so many things about this case 🙏🏻 I hope u will post more because I’m really interested to read about this case 🫶🏼 (btw I’m sorry if I wrote something wrong but English isn’t my first language 🥲)
