So, how did they set up a sham trial and fail to cite the laws, etc. and no one, it even other attorneys noticed? Is this the power of the trance of television.
I agree with your assessment. I never heard any laws cited, no names of the “deceased” or description of evidence, but I also am not familiar with court procedures and trials.
If they pulled this off with Jeffrey, where else has this happened? If it was this easy to do, it seems there are others that are sham trials as well. I certainly can think if others that are suspicious.
They just expected people to not understand Wisconsin law and for the most part they didn't. I'm sure there were lawyers out there wondering what the heck was going on. They basically pulled it off without having to show any evidence, only the so-called 'confession' was allowed to be admitted as the key physical 'evidence'. The article about the trial is good as it explains in detail how they managed to do this. And yes, I'm sure this is not the first time this has happened, seeing some of the other spectacles that happen around us.
Its upside down, the perpetrators are portrayed as the 'heroes' when they are quite the opposite and the media is complicit in promoting this. And as time goes on the story keeps getting more twisted with added make-believe. Someone even wrote a book about why they believe Jeff killed Adam Walsh and they promoted this online! Its awful. The fangirls are an interesting group, as they don't seem to realise they are misled by what they think happened. But they are amongst the easiest to convince about what really happened, its like they knew all along but their judgement was clouded, hence their adoration of Jeff. Then yes, there's the diehard believers, who no matter what the evidence in front of their eyes shows, they will never be convinced. The cognitive dissonance is real. The real Jeff is just not that interesting to them.
And yet the 'acid' story is central to the narrative. The 'confession' mentions throughout the lengths Jeff goes to to hide his 'crimes'. The alarm system in the apartment, the painting of 3 skulls so they appear 'artificial' to anyone who may see them, the constant reference to disposal of 'remains' and the 'remains' found in the blue barrel that Jeff didn't get a chance to dissolving in acid and so on. Adding the correct charges would however add further complication to an already impossible narrative, and there was no real evidence to present (hence the admittance only of the so-called confession as the only key physical 'evidence' allowed at the trial). No issue with charges for 'habitual criminality' and the extra 120 years that would carry. More holes than Swiss cheese.
To the author of this "The Dahmer Case", you must like Jeffrey alot right? I'm not saying in a sarcastic or mocking you like that's nice. Going to such lengths of proving what is the truth and giving Jeff justice. You must really like him I can tell :)

I'm sure people did notice. However, they were powerless to do anything about it. Yes, we need to start thinking about what else might be fake.

Yes, hence I don't listen to MSM. Especially if they try to play on our emotions.

Right. And we basically all fell for it because it was dramatic and on the television.
It makes me question what other nonsense I have fallen for.
Exactly!
