Who is Jeff Six and What Does He Know About What Happened to Steven Hicks in 1978?
Jeff Six was argumentative, confrontational, and enjoyed running over dogs with his car. Lionel Dahmer thought he was a bad influence.
Jeff Six, born August 1960, attended Revere High School with Jeff Dahmer and was a close friend. Despite that, most people familiar with this story have never heard of Jeff Six. Here’s a photo of Jeff Six from the 1978 Revere High School yearbook:
Here’s what we know about Jeff Six…
He liked to hit dogs with his car, and this behavior made Jeff Dahmer sick. Dr. Fosdal mentioned this during the trial:
Note that as soon as the subject of Jeff Dahmer’s ''strange behavior'' regarding animals is brought up, the conversation moves immediately to Jeff Six. Jeff Six was actually the one abusing animals, not Jeff Dahmer.
This is like saying...
''I have serious problems with food. My friend Mike eats anything you put in front of his face. He can't stop.''
One of Jeff Dahmer’s classmates at Revere High School, John Backderf (aka Derf Backderf) mentioned Jeff Six’s behavior in his comic book called My Friend Dahmer. In that book, he gave Jeff Six the name “Lloyd Figg.” Here’s an excerpt from the book:
Figg was regarded by all as the class psycho, far worse than Dahmer. In addition to his disruptive behavior at school, he was a heavy pot smoker and was rumored to be dealing weed. This was the main element of his “friendship” with Dahmer. They were spotted smoking together several times by Neil and others. Figg enjoyed running over animals in his car and was accused of purposely hitting several neighborhood pets. Dahmer recounts an incident when he was getting a ride with Figg, and Figg swerved to hit a small dog, a cruel act that enraged even Dahmer! Figg was argumentative and confrontational and was frequently smacked around by schoolmates, but he was so mammoth that he barely felt the blows.
Backderf continues…
I was home for break the last 3 weeks in July and the first week in August. During this break, I attended a field party (bonfire and beer) in Bath with Mike and a few others. Surprisingly, Lloyd Figg showed up and, as usual, was behaving like an annoying idiot. He danced around us, babbling that he “knew a secret.” Finally, one of us said, “Okay, Figg. What secret?” But then Figg clammed up and quickly vanished. Looking back now, I wonder if he knew of the Hicks murder. Did Dahmer blurt something out? Figg was the last of the lower-caste psychos (some of whom were serious drug users) with whom Dahmer stayed in contact after high school. These friendships, if they could be called that, would all peter out by the end of that summer. Lionel insists there were “several” teenagers passed out in the living room when he first discovered in early August that Jeff was living in the family home alone and Joyce had split.
What was Jeff Six’s secret?
According to the official narrative, Jeff Dahmer was a closeted homosexual who murdered Steven Hicks because Hicks wanted to leave. If he killed Hicks, he wouldn’t have shared that information with anyone.
Jeff Six’s sick habit was also mentioned in The Shrine of Jeffrey Dahmer by Brian Masters:
Was Jeff Six involved in what happened to Steven Hicks in 1978?
John Backderf says that when Jeff Six was pushed to tell the secret, he clammed up and disappeared.
Interestingly, Jeff Six is the only friend of Jeff Dahmer who, to this day, has never said a word about Jeff. As Jeff Dahmer’s closest friend, his silence raises questions.
The official narrative wants us to believe that teenage Jeff Dahmer was spending his time during the summer of 1978 sitting at home, alone and bored. However, that’s unlikely. Jeff Dahmer would have been spending time with friends. That’s what kids do, and Jeff Dahmer’s closest friend was Jeff Six.
Could Jeff Dahmer have been in Jeff Six's car when they met Steven Hicks?
According to the official narrative, Jeff Dahmer picked up Steven Hicks on June 18, 1978, across from the firehouse, which is located at West Bath Rd, in Ohio. Jeff lived at 4480 West Bath Rd. We are told that Jeff met Steven Hicks after supposedly borrowing his father's car to go to the cinema.
The official narrative is that Jeff was stopped that night by police for driving left of center, allegedly with Steven Hicks’ body in the back seat, in trash bags. However, there’s no exact date on this Army document. It just says June 1978:
According to Brian Masters in The Shrine of Jeffrey Dahmer, Jeff got the ticket for driving left of center on June 25, 1978, at 3 AM, not June 18th:
The concert Steven Hicks was going to on June 18, 1978, was at Chippewa Lake. He was hitchhiking to the concert from the drop-off point you see on the map. Note where Jeff’s house is located in relation to the drop-off point and the concert venue:
The gates at the concert venue opened at 10AM:
Given the location of the concert venue it's unclear how Steven ended up supposedly meeting Jeff Dahmer on Highway 77 instead of 76, which he could use to get home (or to the concert) in a straight line.
The following is speculation…
Perhaps Jeff Dahmer and Jeff Six went to Akron to the cinema in Jeff Six’s car. Maybe Steven Hicks stopped at a mall in Akron on his way home from the concert. He met Jeff Dahmer and Jeff Six, and they decided to hang out together. They all went back to Jeff’s house because he was there all alone. So, we have three young male teenagers hanging out, drinking, smoking dope, lifting barbells, and no responsible adults around to keep an eye on things. Anything can go wrong.
We know Jeff Six had violent tendencies and that he ran over dogs with his car for fun. Given his violent behavior toward animals, who knows what else he might be capable of.
Jeff Six has a criminal record (see screenshot below) and, according to John Backderf, was rumored to be a pot dealer in high school. Therefore, he could very well have had problems with the police in high school because of drugs or drunk driving. If so, it's not difficult to imagine his desire to cover up an accidental death.
Dr. Fosdal quoted one very interesting statement from Jeff:
First mistake that led up to all this. Had I driven past all this would not have happened.
A rather strange statement for someone who, according to the narrative, has been fantasizing about corpses and killing people since the age of 15. A person with such fantasies would have killed someone sooner or later anyway.
Jeff Dahmer also referred to what happened to Steven Hicks as a “festering sore” that never gets better and eventually ruptures:
There's a reason Six stays silent despite being a close friend of Jeff's. Did he make the suggestion to hide the evidence. Jeff always said it was a accident, 'not planned' & involved barbells. Was Six the one Jeff was heard shouting and swearing at by Vernell, for 'making him do this'? The official story, in the confession and the FBI vault for instance, about what happened to Steven Hicks keeps changing, which shows we are not being told the truth.
